To us only the best technology is good enough. Therefore we are constantly working on improving our stoves. In 1989 we were the first provider to introduce pellet stove technology to Europe and have been the market leader in the field to date. We also possess numerous patents, such as the RIKA panel flushing system, the RIKATRONIC automatic air regulation system and the RIKA air control system (RLS).

In the pellet stove sector we are able to offer you prominent technological features, such as the extremely quiet, constantly running (and non-cyclic!) pellet delivery system, a remote control operating function via your phone and the patented pellet combustion and cleaning method.

gain here is then incorporated into the development of our stoves. We therefore work closely, for example, with the following research companies: Joanneum Research GmbH, Austrian Bioenergy Centre GmbH and Deutsches Zentrum für Luft- und Raumfahrt e. V. (DLR).

A concrete example that has emerged from the close cooperation with our research partners is the integration of a thermoelectric generator in a pellet stove. This development materialised through cooperation with the Deutsches Zentrum für Luft- und Raumfahrt e. V. (DLR) (German Aerospace Centre). The aim of this research project is to enable the pellet stove to supply itself with the power required for the ignition and combustion phases. The pellet stove is thereby representative of an entirely energy self-sufficient system.

Thanks to these collaborations the woodburning and pellet stoves manufactured by RIKA are equipped with the best technology on the market!
