International Design Award for RIKA's Topo pellet stove
The pellet stoves from the Upper Austrian stove manufacturer, RIKA, not only feature the best technology, but also captivate through their outstanding design. The latest in the series is the Topo pellet stove, which was recently awarded the internationally renowned iF (International Forum Design) Design Award.
The iF Award has been presented since 1953 and is one of the world's most prestigious design awards. A jury of 25 experts appointed by iF evaluates items in the field of product design according to criteria such as design quality, functionality, ergonomics, visualisation and brand value and it awards outstanding design achievements accordingly. Companies from 39 countries submitted more than 2,400 entries this year.
Special features of the distinguished stove
The Topo model, which is among the first ambient air-independent pellet stoves from RIKA Innovative Ofentechnik, operates in a particularly quiet manner thanks to its new pellet feed system. A further advantage offered by this stove is its large pellet tank, which enables extremely long operating cycles. "Future-oriented technology combined with an aesthetic design is RIKA's answer to the needs and requirements of our customers", states CEO Karl Riener.
Creative Consultancy KISKA has been accompanying RIKA on its way to becoming the premium supplier of woodburning stoves for the European market for over ten years. This collaboration has already resulted in the creation of outstanding woodburning and pellet stoves.
A RIKA stove is more than just a source of heat: It is a unique piece of heating furniture which places a strong emphasis on a contemporary ambiance.
