We live and breathe quality

Our company headquarters are located in the Pyhrn-Eisenwurzen region, an area that is not only beautiful, but one which has been renowned for the skills of its inhabitants with all kinds of metal since the 16th Century. This legacy lives on at RIKA.

We manufacture all of our stoves in our Micheldorf and Adlwang plants and work exclusively with Central European suppliers. Our employees are highly skilled workers who receive training throughout their entire working life. This is because they are ultimately responsible for ensuring the very high level of quality of a RIKA woodburning and pellet stove. In our production facility we use modern machinery and high-tech equipment, such as our laser cutting machine and welding robots. In addition, our stoves are assembled and checked by hand by our experts in the final assembly process. The following slideshow gives you a brief insight into our production world:

<strong>Precise laser cutting</strong><br>Every stove starts out as a simple sheet of metal. These sheets are cut with our lasers in a fully automatic process that is accurate to a 10th of a millimetre. The necessary data for this is created using state of the art 3D drawing programmes.

<strong>Nibbling parts</strong><br>Depending on shape and quality, several parts are manipulated by our state-of-the-art nibbling machinery.

<strong>Series production parts</strong><br>Series production parts are manufactured by Austria’s single coil punching machine. Hereby, metal coils up to 5 tons in weight are being manipulated.

<strong>The form emerges</strong><br>The cut metal sheets are pressed into their final form by one of our 10 edge-bending machines.

<strong>Automatic edging</strong><br>Large-scale parts are edged up to a sheet thickness of 2,5mm by our edge-bending machines.

<strong>Robot welding</strong><br>State of the art robots and professionally trained workers weld the individual parts together. This produces the finished metal housing.

<strong>Surface preparation</strong><br>Before being processed further the housing is cleaned thoroughly by use of a sandblasting procedure in order to prepare the surface for the next important step - coating the stove!

<strong>Coating</strong><br>Our coating robots ensure a quick and thorough job.

<strong>Manuelle Endmontage des Pelletofens</strong><br>Our pellet stoves are assembled and hand checked by our experts in the final assembly process.

<strong>Final quality control</strong><br>Every stove is subjected to another thorough inspection, before it is released for sale. The individual inspection points in our quality control process guarantee a flawless and immaculate stove.

<strong>Storage and transport</strong><br>The stove is now packed and prepared for transport. The stove is loaded and exits our production plant.

We also subject our materials to the highest quality standards and only use carefully selected products. And to ensure you are able to enjoy your RIKA stove for a long time to come, we guarantee a supply of spare parts for at least 10 years, even if production of the stove has ceased.
